drupal
I have just been playing with the themes for drupal. This theme is called pixture and it is possible to change the width between fixed and fluid and the dimensions % and pixels. I think I will keep this theme for the summer - if we get one!

I was finally able to get my cron jobs running in Drupal 5.7 (I previously had them working in Drupal 5.2), but when I upgraded they stopped working. I previously had cron run the lynx script, but that now doesn't appear to work. I tried pretty much everything.

You may have noticed the theming of this site has been changing nearly every day. That is because I am trying to find a good theme for my blog. Leave a comment if you have a preference. This theme is called 'Garamond', the previous one is called 'Glossy Blue' and I will probably try customising a theme called 'Garland'. |

However this won't stop all those unaddressed mail items... To stop about 25% of unaddressed mail which is delivered to you by the Royal Mail write to: Door-to-Door Opt Out optout@royalmail.co.uk If you do this they will merely send you the email below, so do yourself a favour and print it out, fill it in and send it off. I think it's a bit much that it isn't freepost! Dear Customer

Here is an Evening Standard article about the recent assault. I don't know why they didn't publish the photo with the employee of C2C with his hands around the neck of the man who evaded his fare.

On Friday evening a friend of mine witnessed an assault by some employees of C2C at Southend East train station. The pictures depict what happens to you if you don't have a ticket. Here is a copy of the letter that Chris sent to the Evening Echo: Please find herewith pictures I took with my mobile phones at approximately 6.25 yesterday inside the Riviera Drive entrance to Southend East Station.

This evening Derek and I went to the Sun Rooms which is at 20 - 21 Market Place in central Southend. It's pretty hard to find, but definitely worth it. The music was kind of chilled out, ambient with a bit of techno and reggae? It was really good just the sort of thang you need on a Sunday night. We used the event to try out the LED throwies and it went much better than we expected. Here are some pictures and a short video. This is all in preparation for the 2006 Sutton with Shopland Music Festival this coming Friday and Saturday.
